Discover the Creative Journey of Kevyn Lutton & Valérie Jacobs

Kevyn Lutton

Kevyn (born March 1, 1942, in Granite City, Illinois) was a passionate artist, activist, and feminist whose life was defined by a deep commitment to justice, community, and creativity.

After joining the Adorers of the Blood of Christ in response to the call of Vatican II, she later pursued her love of art, earning degrees from Southern Illinois University and Florida State University. Her career included work at the San Francisco Chronicle, and her activism spanned anti-nuclear protests, AIDS care with the Shanti Project, and solidarity with El Salvador.

Kevyn co-founded the Reclaiming Witches Collective, supported her local African-American community, and was a powerful voice for psychiatric survivors.
